Introducing Traces for Teams

Apr 20, 2026

Today we're launching Traces for Teams a shared home for your team's agent sessions. Create an organization, invite your teammates, and every agent conversation your team chooses to shrare, lives in one place: searchable, resumable, and tried back to the code it produced.

What your team can do

An organization in Traces is a shared namespace that keeps your team's traces, members, agents, and API keys together in one place. Once your team is in it you can:

  • Share and hand off conversations privately and securely. Traces supports three visibility levels: private: only org members can read,, direct: anyone with the link, and pubilc: discoverable.
  • Connect every Git commit to the session that produced it. Once you set up git hooks, a light traces:<id> reference is written into a git note on each commit and shared as your team pushes, so reviewers can jump from a change back to the conversation behind it.
  • Standardize all your session data in one format. Traces normalizes every agent's conversation into a unified format, and you can export an entire namespace as a ZIP of JSONL files or push it straight to a HuggingFace dataset for analysis or fine tuning.

What happens when your team starts sharing

Traces works across 16 supported agent ecosystems. Offering your team things like:

  • A new view of real progress. Each org profile has a redesigned activity graph you can zoom into by dragging across days. For team members it splits into a "By Agent" and "By Person" view.
  • A self-evolving, agent-neutral knowledgebase. Because everything is normalized into one format and stored in your org namespace, your team's history isn't locked into any single agent. Instead, it's searchable and exportable no matter which tool wrote it.
  • New multiplayer workflows. Handing off a sesion itn's limted to the original agent. traces resume TRACE_ID --agent AGENT_ID starts a fresh session in a different agent seeded from the source trace, so a conversation can move between people and tools.
